Sydney, New South Wales, Australia: Palm Beach and Hawkesbury River Cruises runs a daily scenic cruise from Palm Beach Wharf in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The cruise crosses Pittwater and Broken Bay for a brief stop at Patonga then cruises up the beautiful lower Hawkesbury into Cowan Waters stopping at Bobbin Head for lunch.

You may board at either Palm Beach at 11:00am or Patonga at 11:30am. Click for our full timetable.

The scenic cruise includes a fascinating commentary pointing out items of interest along the way. Heading away from the northern beaches across majestic Pittwater into Broken Bay you will pass the penguin colony of Lion Island and skirt West Head as the bush and sandstone lined shore of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park looms closer. Meanwhile, Barrenjoey Head, the lighthouse, Palm Beach and the Pacific Ocean glimmer in the background as fishermen and sailors smile and wave as we pass. Click for our route map.

Arriving at Bobbin Head at 12:50 for lunch you may purchase something from the kiosk or bring your own picnic and lunch ashore beside the tranquil waters. The ferry departs Bobbin head at 1:45 returning to Patonga at 3:00pm and Palm Beach at 3:30pm.

Alternatively, you may choose to stop of and dine at Cottage Point

The cruise will show you some of Sydney's most beautiful scenery.

- Departing Patonga for Palm Beach: 9:30am, 3:00pm, & 4:15pm
